Billy W. Sumners, age 65, of Cottontown, Tennessee passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Billy was born in Nashville, TN and was the son of the late Marcus and Rachel McLemore Sumners.
Mr. Sumners is survived by his loving wife Donna Barber Sumners, daughters; Heather (David) Smallwood, Elizabeth (Justin) Huffines, and Lindsey Roberts; brothers Terry (Sharon) Sumners, Barry (Carol) Sumners, and Ralph Sumners; grandchildren Dalton (Ivy) Smallwood, Duncan (Rayleigh) Smallwood, Brantley Huffines, Sawyer Huffines, and Rachel Roberts. Billy was predeceased in death by his parents, Marcus and Rachel Sumners, and daughter Laura Sumners.
Billy loved his wife, kids, grandchildren, fishing and Tennessee Football.
A Celebration of Life for Billy will be held at 2 pm on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Alan Fyke and Jody Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Barry Sumners, Ralph Sumners, Terry Sumners, Troy Lee, Bobby Hammock, David Creameans, Billy “Bama” White and Steve Hogan.
