Billy Joe Bruce, age 89, of Gallatin, passed away on June 29th, 2026 at NHC Hendersonville. Mr. Bruce was born in Nashville on October 18th, 1936 to the late Herman Reece Bruce & the late Polly Gourley.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Frances Bruce.
Mr. Bruce is survived by his son, Steve (Darlene) Bruce of Portland; grandsons, Chad (Courtney) Bruce of Orlinda & Chase (Chassity) Bruce of Portland; great grandchildren, Lane Bruce, Hallie Bruce, Lawson Bruce, Korie Bruce, Maddox Bruce, & Billy Bruce.
Funeral for Mr. Bruce will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 6th, 2026 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with interment in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Bruce will be on Sunday, July 5th, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm & on Monday, July 6th, 2026 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
