Mrs. Betty Sue Hammock of Westmoreland, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, she was 83 years old.
She was born August 27, 1938 to the late Lucian and Selma Summers Carter in Sumner County, TN.
Mrs. Betty is survived by her son and his wife, Gary (Martha) Hammock; sister, Judy (James) Williams; brothers, Jerry Carter and Tom (Carolyn) Carter; sister, Lillian (Joe) Johnson; grandchildren, Gary Hammock II and Jake Hammock; great-grandchildren, Cora Hammock, Jett Hammock and Kanati Hammock; as well as several nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, 5 months and 8 days, Don Q. Hammock; her sons, Bill Hammock and Donald Ray Hammock; and her brothers, Ed Carter and Dan Carter.
The service for Mrs. Betty Hammock will be held on Friday, at 12:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Shockley and Bro. Tim Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove General Baptist Church Cemetery.
