Ms. Betty Summers, age 81, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away February 6, 2025. She was born May 1, 1943 in Orlinda, TN to the late Lindsey and Florine Gregory.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Summers; her son, Clay Summers; her brothers, Jimmy, Larry, R.B., Jackie, Bruce, Roger, Lynn and Donald; her sisters, Pamela, Eva, Nancy, Novella, Frances and Othelia.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorie (Kevin) Bandy; her sister, Joyce Haun; her grandchildren, Clayton Summers, James Summers and Chris Bandy; as well as 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Ms. Summers will be conducted on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 1PM from New Hope Cemetery with Shawn Carter officiating.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Chris Bandy, Clayton Summers, James Summers, Jason Gregory, Larry Stafford and Mickey Summers.
In lieu of flowers the family request you make donations to the funeral expenses at the office of Woodard Funeral Home. The family has entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the care of their loved one. “Serving you as we would like to be served.”
