Barbara Jean Merkel, 83 of Westmoreland, Tn. passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Westmoreland Health Care. Mrs Merkel was born August 16, 1941 to the late William Fredrick and Sonya Marie in Madison Wisconsin.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Merkel was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Merkel who passed in 2005 along with some siblings.
Mrs. Merkel is survived by her daughter, Karey Merkel-Kildow of Seminole, Tx.; son, Joseph(Ashley) Merkel II of Gallatin, Tn.; siblings, Jon, Joann, Sue, Rick, Jimmy and David; grandchildren, Kourtney(Bailey) Wilson, Caleb(Kayla) Kildon, Jospeh Merkel III, William Merkel and Thomas Merkel.
Family in Love Norman and Anna Stuart and children.
The family has chosen cremation for Mrs. Merkel and there will be a memorial service announced at a later date.
