Arthur Adrian Shannon, born on October 15, 1973, in Nashville, Tennessee, departed this life unexpectedly at his home in Hendersonville, Tennessee, on March 19, 2025. At the age of 51, Arthur’s vibrant spirit and kind heart left a profound impact on all who knew him.
Arthur is survived by his loving parents, Nellie and Mike Shannon; his brother, Micheal Shannon (Kandi); as well as several nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dewayne Ralston.
Arthur was a devoted father to Adrian McCaffery (Austin), Megan Shannon, and his fur baby Bo. He cherished his role as a grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Orion, Finan, and Alita. Although he is gone his memory will forever reside within them. Recently, Arthur had discovered faith and was filled with excitement as he anticipated the joys of welcoming his new granddaughter into the world. This newfound relationship with God brought him solace and enthusiasm, infusing his days with renewed purpose.
An enthusiast of mechanics and vintage treasures, Arthur enjoyed working on cars and took great pleasure in collecting antiques. His passion for helping others shone through in his willingness to lend a hand anytime someone was in need. There was a warmth in the way Arthur connected with people; he had an innate ability to bring smiles to faces and uplift those around him.
Arthur’s proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his children and grandchildren. He dedicated his life to nurturing them, instilling values of love, kindness, and resilience. His legacy will live on through their memories and the impact he made within their lives.
Please join us in honoring the life of Mr. Arthur Shannon on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home – White House, located at 212 Hwy 76, White House, TN 37188. Family and Friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home from 11am until 1pm. The memorial service for Mr. Shannon will begin at the one o’clock hour.
