Mrs. Anita Lynn Slaughter, age 72 of Lafayette, TN passed away Monday evening, October 6, 2025 at Alive Hospice, Nashville, TN.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Ray & Virginia Baker Pilkinton; Brother, Marvin Ray Pilkinton and Sister, Marsha Louise Tibbetts.
Survived by: Husband, Ronnie Slaughter-Lafayette, TN; 4 Sons, Ronald (Jessica) Slaughter III-Mt. Juliet, TN, John (Lacey) Slaughter- Lebanon, TN, Christopher (Sierra) Slaughter-Clarksville, TN and Stephen (Jadyn) Slaughter-Waverly, TN; Daughter, Mary (Jeremy) Harl-Worthington, IN; 12 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Larry Pilkinton-Nashville, TN and Sister, Lisa (Keith) Law- Lebanon, TN;
Funeral services will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 550 McMurry Blvd. E, Hartsville, TN 37074 at 2 PM Friday, October 10, 2025 conducted by Pastor Donnie Martin and Pastor Carroll Carman. Interment will be in the Anderson and Son Memorial Park, Lafayette, TN. Visitation with the family will be held at Grace Baptist Church from 5 to 8 PM Thursday and 12 Noon until service time Friday.
