Neil Gremillion, career educator known by his students as Mr. G, passed away on June 15, 2021 after a swift battle with cancer. A native of Louisiana, Neil worked within the Saint Bernard Parish school system and Archdiocese of New Orleans, teaching many years at both Chalmette and Pope John Paul high schools before relocating to Tennessee in 2006 and continuing his profession with the Sumner County Board of Education. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Laura (nee Patterson), sons Henry and Daniel, and his younger brother Charles. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Victoria, as well as his elder brother Peter. Neil will be fondly remembered by his extended family and dear friends.
