Man Taken Into Custody for January Homicide in Hendersonville

February 7, 2025 – Hendersonville police have arrested a man they say is responsible for a homicide that too place last month.

On January 12, 2025, the Hendersonville Police Department responded to a shots fired call in the 100 block of Vulco Drive, Hendersonville, Tennessee. Upon arrival, the call was changed to a homicide. When police arrived, the suspect was no longer in the area.

On February 7, 18-year-old Amani Jordan was taken into custody in the Antioch area after information was received concerning his whereabouts. Hendersonville Police Department Detectives and Flex Officers met with Metro Nashville Police and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to coordinate his successful capture.

Amani Jordan was arrested on his outstanding warrant for 2nd Degree Homicide related to the shooting incident that occurred on January 12, 2025, on Vulco Drive. He was booked into Sumner County Jail with a $1,000,000 bond and court was set for February 21, 2025, in Sumner County General Sessions Court.
