April 4, 2025 – On April 2, 2025, the Hendersonville Police Department investigated an aggravated assault resulting from a road rage incident that had occurred in the 1000 block of W. Main St.
Using video footage and License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology, officers were able to identify the suspect as Samuel Kirkingburg. He was located and arrested without incident.
Mr. Kirkingburg has been charged with aggravated assault. He is scheduled to appear in Sumner County General Sessions Court on April 17, 2025, at 9:00 AM.
The Hendersonville Police Department urges all drivers to exercise patience and drive safely.
