Mr. James Timothy Hammonds, age 50 of Portland, TN, died Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at TriStar ER in Portland, TN. Mr. Hammonds was born on August 22, 1970 in Portland, TN.
Mr. Hammonds is survived by his son, Brent Hammonds of Portland, TN, his daughter Chelsea Hammonds of Portland, TN. His parents, James Virgil and Linda Sue Hammonds of Portland, TN. A brother Phillip Wayne Hammonds of Portland, TN along with two sisters Sonia Nacole Hammonds and Michelle Lynn Hammonds both of Portland, TN. Eight grandchildren; D’markques Antione Hammonds, Amiyah Nicole Regean Hammonds, Mariah Arianna Marie Hammonds, Damonte’ LaBryante Hammonds, Cayden James Pearson, Caia Grace Pearson, Calla Ann Pearson, and Carter Wayne Jackson.
Timmy was preceded in death by his wife, Leah Ann Hammonds.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday and from 9:00 AM until service time Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
