How to Donate to Sumner County Disaster Relief Headquarters

United Way of Sumner County is collaborating with Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce Hendersonville, TN to serve as Disaster Relief Headquarters at The Streets 300 Indian Lake Blvd, Suite D160 (Hendersonville Chamber Event space).

Please drop off the following items starting Monday, Dec 11th from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and across the street at Birdie Bros at Suite E180 from 5:00 pm – 12:00 am.

Items needed include:
– work gloves
-paper towels
– flashlights
-trash bags
– hammers
– tarps
– eye protective glasses
-portable heaters
-rakes
-nails
-wheel barrels
– shovels
-batteries
– bottled water
-bottled Gatorade
– individual snacks

United Way is also looking for restaurants who can provide 50-100 boxed meals for relief workers/families lunch.

Please do not donate clothes or other household items at this time. If you are in immediate need, please contact Hendersonville Samaritan Association at 615-824-7105.

Monetary donations can be made to United Way of Sumner County Disaster Relief Fund. 100% of your gift goes to help the recovery from the December 9th Tornado.
