Historic Downtown Gallatin is proud to announce the return of the 25th Annual Gallatin Square Fest, taking place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the heart of Downtown Gallatin. As one of Sumner County’s most anticipated events, Square Fest is expected to draw over 25,000 attendees for a full day of shopping, entertainment, and community celebration.

This milestone year will feature over 240 vendors lining the historic square and surrounding streets, offering a wide variety of handmade goods, local products, food, and unique finds. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.

Festivalgoers can enjoy live music throughout the day across three stages, including:

The Main Stage on the Square
10-11 South Tunnel
11-12 Danny McCorkle
12-1 Better Us
1-2 Carol Miller
2-3 Incognito Cartel
3-4 Ovation All-Stars

The Ovation Stage in the food court
10-11 Student Recital

The Keen School of Music Stage in the Kids Entrepreneurial Zone
The Radical Bones, Stationary, Sons of Sparta, Untitled, Student players
and others!

A highlight of the event is the Kids Entrepreneurial Zone, where young creators showcase and sell products they’ve made themselves, encouraging creativity, confidence, and early business skills.

Parking is available throughout Downtown Gallatin, as well as in surrounding business
lots where permitted. Attendees are encouraged to watch for posted parking and no-
parking signage. A public parking garage located at 137 E Franklin St. is the best and
newest option in downtown.

Street closures for the event include:
– North Water Street from Prince Street to Main Street
– Main Street from College Street to Locust Street
– The Courthouse Square

While vendor applications for Square Fest are now closed, applications for the
upcoming Main Street Festival in October will open the first week of May. Those interested can stay informed by following Historic Downtown Gallatin on Facebook or by visiting downtowngallatin.org.

Now in its 25th year, Gallatin Square Fest continues to support the mission of Historic
Downtown Gallatin: to stimulate quality growth of downtown Gallatin in the areas of
design, promotion, organization, and economic development. Events like Square Fest
play a vital role in showcasing local businesses, supporting entrepreneurs, and bringing
the community together in a vibrant downtown setting.

“We are excited for this year’s Square Fest and honored that the community has supported it for 25 years. It’s a wonderful way to kick off the spring shopping season here in Historic Downtown Gallatin. Enjoy our visiting vendors and food trucks, but don’t forget to stop into our local shops and restaurants as well.”

“We are also looking forward to bringing back our Kids Entrepreneurial Zone this year, which was a huge success at Main Street Fest last year,” said Amy Nixon Historic Downtown Gallatin.

The event is made possible through the generous support of its sponsors.
