It wasn’t pretty, gut-tough wins usually aren’t, but Station Camp wasn’t going for style points. A victory will do, and it was earned 14-7 over White House during this Tennessee football game.

White House rallied in the final quarter, but Station Camp skirted trouble with just enough offense to thwart all hopes.

Station Camp broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 14-0 lead over White House.

Both offenses were muted in unproductive first and second quarters, resulting in a 0-0 halftime score.

Portland escapes close call with Westmoreland 31-28

With little to no wiggle room, Portland nosed past Westmoreland 31-28 in Tennessee high school football on August 20.

The Panthers fended off the Eagles’ last-ditch effort in a frantic final period.

Portland broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 28-21 lead over Westmoreland.

A halftime tie at 14-14 allowed for a respite as both teams looked to regroup in the locker room.

The Panthers darted in front of the Eagles 14-7 to begin the second quarter.
