The Hendersonville Police Department responded to an attempted aggravated robbery earlier today at a business located in the Glenbrook Shopping Center.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect made a purchase before displaying a knife and demanding money from the cashier. The employee refused to comply, and the suspect fled the store on foot without obtaining any money.
Officers immediately conducted a canvass of the area and located clothing believed to have been worn by the suspect in a trash receptacle outside a nearby business. Surveillance footage from surrounding businesses also captured the suspect leaving the area.
Through investigative efforts, officers identified and located the suspect at a nearby apartment complex, where she was taken into custody without incident.
The suspect has been identified as Caroline M. Walker, 23, of Hendersonville. She has been charged with Attempted Aggravated Robbery and she is scheduled to appear in Sumner County General Sessions Court on April 15, 2026.
This remains an active investigation.
