Hendersonville Parks is gearing up for its annual Spring Special Needs Egg Hunt, set to take place at Mary’s Magical Place Playground in Veterans Park. The event, scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2025, will offer an inclusive and accessible experience for children with sensory and mobility challenges.

The playground setting will provide a welcoming environment where children can enjoy the seasonal tradition in a way that meets their needs. Session 1, running from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., is specifically designed for participants who experience sensory sensitivities or mobility difficulties.

Participation in the event is free, but space is limited to 30 children per session. Pre-registration is required and will remain open until April 9 or until all spots are filled. Each registered participant may be accompanied by up to two adults inside the playground, while additional family members are welcome to watch from outside the fenced area.

Families interested in signing up can register online or visit the Hendersonville Parks office in person. For more details, including registration information, please call the Parks Department.
