The Hendersonville Fire Department is teaming up with the Tennessee State Fire Marshals Office, Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, and the American Red Cross for a smoke detector initiative. This event will take place on Saturday, October 19, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Ward 6 (Township Drive area).
During this time, personnel will be going door-to-door to install complimentary smoke detectors. They’ll also be available to address any concerns or questions you might have about fire safety during the winter months.
If you’re not a resident of Ward 6 or if you won’t be available on that Saturday, don’t worry. You can still benefit from this free service by calling 615-822-1119 to arrange for your smoke detector installation at a more convenient time.
