The Gallatin Police Department is mourning the loss of retired Master Patrol Officer and military veteran Vince Marquez.
Marquez began his career with the department on November 19, 2001, and served the community for more than 20 years until his retirement on April 25, 2022. Throughout his time with GPD, he contributed to several specialized units, including the Emergency Response Team, Bike Patrol Unit, and Parks Division. He also played a key role in shaping new officers through his work as a Field Training Officer.
He retired with the rank of Master Patrol Officer, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and professionalism. The department extended its condolences to Marquez’s family, friends, and the many colleagues who had the privilege of serving alongside him.
