Gallatin Authorities Seize 20lbs of Meth, Other Drugs in Bust

On May 1, 2025, the Gallatin Police Department, with the assistance of the Sumner County Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence located on North Electra Street in Gallatin, Tennessee.

During the operation, investigators seized approximately 20 pounds of methamphetamine, 4 pounds of marijuana, 2 pounds of cocaine, two vehicles, and over $1,000 in cash. This search and seizure is the result of an ongoing investigation targeting illegal drug activity within the community.

The primary suspect, Edt Martell Winford, was taken into custody at the scene and is currently being held at the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office.

Winford has been charged with the following offenses:

• Manufacture, Delivery, Sale or Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession of Schedule II for Resale
• Possession of Schedule VI for Resale
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
