The Gallatin Fire Department responded this morning to a reported outside fire at a golf cart shop on Albert Gallatin Avenue. While crews were en route, the call was upgraded to a commercial structure fire.
Engine 12 arrived to find roughly 25 golf carts and two vehicles heavily involved in flames next to a building. Command was established, and firefighters deployed two 1¾-inch handlines along with a deck gun to attack the fire. Engine 13 secured a water supply, while additional crews staged and assisted with manpower and overhaul operations.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze with no reported injuries and only minor damage to the building.
Gallatin Fire thanked assisting agencies, including the Gallatin Police Department, Sumner County EMS, the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office and the Hendersonville Fire Department, which provided coverage during the response.
