July 2, 2024 – A man was arrested on drug charges in Sumner County.
Sumner County ECC received a call regarding a suspicious vehicle near a creek inside of Sumner County.
Deputies responded promptly and made contact with the car and the occupants.
Upon investigation, it was determined that Iro Woods was operating the vehicle while under the influence. Additionally, Mr. Woods was found in possession of illegal narcotics and handguns.
Mr. Woods was taken into custody and transported to Sumner County Jail without incident.
