Age 85 of White House passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at the Residence of Alive Hospice. He was born August 30, 1935 in Chicago, IL to Harold and Mildred Plaszo Mummert. He worked in Security/Logistics for Macy’s before his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jake Rozell. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sherry Mummert, White House, TN; sons, Donald (Jackie) Mummert, Ashland City, TN, Timothy Mummert, Cookeville, TN and Peter (Tanya) Mummert, Hendersonville, TN; daughter, Janie (Terry) Crumley, Chattanooga, TN; 12 grandchildren, Rhonda Mummert, Lisa Beasom, Rachel Mummert, Jennifer Rozell-Whitaker, Jewel Rozell, Jessica Rozell, Garrett Crumley, Matthew Mummert, Christopher Mummert, Alexis Mummert, and Skylar Mummert; 7 great-grandchildren, Arrington Mummert, Aleigha Ellis, Andrew Beasom, Aiden Beasom, Alivia Beasom, Skylar Rozell-Whitaker, and Huntleigh Rose Mummert. Graveside committal service is scheduled for Monday, June 14, 2021 at 1 pm in Hillcrest Cemetery Columbarium. There is no visitation planned.
