White House is getting ready for one of its most magical holiday traditions, and residents are invited to help kick off the season during the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony this Saturday, December 6.
The celebration takes place at the Municipal Complex on College Street, where the city’s towering tree—currently quiet and unlit—will come to life at dusk as part of the Christmas on Main Street festivities. The event follows the Christmas Parade and is sponsored by Life Christian Academy.
Families can enjoy free hot cocoa, cookies, popcorn, and live performances from local school choirs as everyone gathers for the countdown to the official lighting. City leaders say it’s the moment the season truly begins in White House, marking a cherished tradition that brings neighbors together each year.
