The holiday season is in full swing and Hendersonville is gearing up for one of the most anticipated annual events – the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting. Set to take place on December 8th, this much-loved tradition promises to fill the community with the spirit of the holidays. This year’s parade and tree lighting theme is “Candy Canes & Christmas Carols”.
The Christmas Parade will kick off the festivities, featuring colorful floats, marching bands, and beloved holiday characters. The parade is set to start at 2PM. The Parade currently has over 90 entries which include bands, horses, and antique cars. Plus, every year there is a grand marshall – the King and Queen of HolidayFest, along with their court of Lords and Ladies.
Following the parade, the community will gather for the highly anticipated tree lighting ceremony.
