July 15, 2024 – In a recent community-driven success, deputies from the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office acted on a tip from a concerned citizen.
The tip revealed that Joshua Armstrong, who had absconded from the Georgia Sex Offender Registry, was hiding in Sumner County.
Armstrong was located and arrested without incident.
He is currently being held at the Sumner County Jail, charged with violating the sex offender registry.
