The celebration will take place Thursday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. at 337 Blythe Avenue in Gallatin. The event is free and open to the public and will include refreshments, giveaways, and tours of the facility.

CFC Recycling acquired the former Goolsby & Sons Recycling business earlier this year and has since invested in renovations and operational improvements. The updates include better traffic flow and improved efficiency for customers bringing in scrap metal.

“From the beginning, our goal has been to honor the legacy of Goolsby & Sons while investing in the future of recycling in Gallatin,” said Andrew Rice, president of CFC Recycling. “We’re excited to welcome the community and show customers the improvements we’ve made while continuing to provide the honest, dependable service they expect.”

The facility serves contractors, businesses, and individuals looking to recycle scrap metal, offering competitive pricing and faster service.

“This grand opening is more than a ribbon cutting,” said Alex Rice, president of CFC Transportation. “It’s a celebration of the relationships that have made this location successful for so many years and our commitment to continuing to serve Gallatin and the surrounding communities for years to come.”
