Arvis “Buddy” Holt Jr., age 77 passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 in Hendersonville, TN. Buddy was born in Sherwood, TN, and was the son of the late Arvis Milburn Holt and Ruthie Jane Jackson Holt.
Mr. Holt is survived by his two sons; Mike Holt (Cindy), Jason Holt; six grandchildren, Stephanie, Dillon, Lindsey, Maddie, Sydney, and Petra; four great-grandchildren, Sophie, Cooper, Hunter, and Sadie; sweetheart of thirty-plus years Betty Parker. Mr. Holt was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.
Services to celebrate Mr. Holts life will be held at 11 am on the morning of Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Garden of the Cross at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 pm-8 pm on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
Buddy was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of Hendersonville Church of Christ for over thirty years. Buddy retired as an electrician for the railroad after thirty-plus years of service.
