November 22, 2024 – Following a lengthy investigation, the Gallatin Police Department executed search warrants Friday morning at two locations: Overlook Apartments at 311 Hancock Street and 705 Demoss Street.
These efforts resulted in the arrests of four adult individuals and one juvenile individual on charges related to drugs and firearms. While not all of the arrests are not directly connected to the recent shootings in the community, investigators believe that all cases are related to gang and drug activity in the area.
The following individuals were arrested:
• Ajhenjuan Murehead AKA Ajhenjuan Parker: Charged with Possession of Schedule II for resale, Felon in Possession of a Firearm (two counts), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
• Charles Fitts: Charged with Felon in Possession of a Handgun and Simple Possession of Crack Cocaine.
• Antonio Walker Jr.: Charged with Reckless Endangerment and Accessory to Commit Criminal Homicide. Walker has been directly linked to a shooting that occurred earlier this week in Gallatin.
“These arrests are the result of dedicated investigative work and highlight the connection between gang activity, drug trafficking, and violence in our community,” said Captain Lamar Ballard “While this is a significant step forward, our work is far from over. We remain committed to dismantling these networks and ensuring the safety of our residents.”
The Gallatin Police Department continues to investigate the recent shootings and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with information related to this or any other crimes that have occurred in Gallatin is asked to contact the Gallatin Police Department at 452-1313.
