On January 20, 2025, the Gallatin Police Department was alerted to an incident at Lock 4 Park involving a Chevrolet Tahoe and four individuals suspected of shooting and killing a goose.
In partnership with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA), officers swiftly conducted an investigation. As a result, one individual has been arrested, and the deceased goose has been recovered.
The Gallatin Police Department and TWRA remain committed to protecting wildlife and ensuring that those responsible for illegal activities are held accountable.
