Arrest Made After Shots Fired During Car Chase

May 26, 2025 – Sumner County deputies responded to a dangerous incident late Saturday night involving a vehicle chasing another on Dobbins Pike. During the pursuit, at least six shots were fired from the suspect vehicle.

With the help of the Gallatin Police Department, deputies were able to stop the vehicle and take three individuals into custody. Among them was the suspected shooter, Nathan Holcomb, who was seated in the back. Deputies also recovered multiple firearms and a quantity of cocaine from the vehicle.

Holcomb is now facing multiple charges, including Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and drug-related offenses.

No injuries were reported. Authorities commended the swift coordination between agencies for helping bring the situation to a safe resolution.
