Charles Lee Poindexter, age 61 of Gallatin, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
Mr. Poindexter was born October 13, 1962, in Nashville.
He is survived by wife of 35 years, Rita Gillihan Poindexter of Gallatin; parents, Floyd Poindexter and Betty Wright Poindexter of Gallatin; stepdaughters, Shannon Stafford of Portland and Sandra Taylor of Bethpage; brothers, Allen Poindexter of Gallatin and James Earl “Buddy” Poindexter (Janie) of Bethpage; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Mr. Poindexter was owner of Poindexter Tree Service for over 25 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 9th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Jay Patterson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 9th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Andy Jones, Wayne Patterson, Timmy Lawrence, Steve Hastings, David Burton, and Jason Raines.
