Alta Key Ceska, age 92, born in Portland, TN on September 12th, 1930 to the late Mitchell & Lena Key, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ceska was preceded in death by husband, John Ceska; infant daughter, Mary Ann Ceska; daughter, Patricia Ceska; sister, Lily Spears; brother, Buck Key; & grandson-in-law, Timmy Cox.
Mrs. Ceska is survived by daughter, Linda (Teddy) Kowalski; granddaughters, Cindy Bolton, Monecca (Adam) Booth, and Amanda (Jay) Tucker; and a host of great-great-grandchildren.
Alta “Nanny” loved to garden, grew beautiful flowers, cherished her beloved cat “Bubba”, and enjoyed visiting with her family. She attended Buck Lodge Church of Christ since 1955, when she and John donated the land to have it built.
Her family would like to extend a special thank you to her wonderful caregiver, Gloria Turner, who loved and cared for her for years.
Funeral for Mrs. Ceska will be at 12:00 pm on Monday, November 28th, 2022 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Knight officiating.
Visitation for Mrs. Ceska will be on Sunday, November 27th, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm & on Monday, November 28th, 2022 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm (Noon) at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home. https://www.wilkinsonwiseman.com
Interment will be in Old Brush Cemetery.
Tobin Tucker, Tyson Tucker, Dorris Bolton, Adam Booth, Braxton Booth, Teddy Kowalski II, Farris Stewart will serve as pallbearers.
