Gallatin has a full Fourth of July lined up this year, with events running from late morning through the evening. Whether you’re looking for a front-row parade spot, a sensory-friendly option for little ones, or a spectacular fireworks show to cap off the night, there’s something for the whole family. Here’s what’s happening in Gallatin on July 4th.
1Gallatin’s Independence Day Event
July 4
Festivities begin at 12pm
The City of Gallatin will celebrate Independence Day with a full day of patriotic events on Saturday, July 4, including a community parade and an evening fireworks show at Triple Creek Park.
As part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration, Sumner County will host a Celebration Parade beginning at 12 p.m. Parade assembly starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Gallatin High School football field, with the route ending back at Gallatin High School. For additional parade information, residents can contact American Legion Post 17 at 615-452-0590.
The festivities will continue Saturday night as the City of Gallatin launches its annual fireworks display at 9 p.m. over Triple Creek Park. The show is expected to last more than 20 minutes, giving families a chance to cap off the holiday with an evening of fireworks.
2Gallatin 4th of July Parade Viewing Party at Trousdale Place

Watch Gallatin’s 4th of July parade from the front lawn of Historic Trousdale Place with your family and friends! There will be a local lemonade vendor on site, and historic Trousdale Place will be open before the parade steps off at noon.

Play Gallatin is hosting Red, White, and No Booms.
