A Minor Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for a portion of Middle Tennessee, including Sumner County, until noon CST Monday, due to very cold wind chills reaching as low as 11°F. Residents are advised to be cautious as prolonged exposure to these conditions can lead to hypothermia.

As of 10:00 PM local time in Sumner County, the weather is clear with a temperature of 28.2°F and a light wind blowing at 4.3 mph. There is no precipitation currently reported.

Earlier today, temperatures reached a high of 29.8°F and dropped to a low of 16.7°F. The day was overcast with very minimal precipitation chances and wind speeds peaking up to 8.5 mph.

Looking ahead to tonight, conditions are expected to be partly cloudy with a low around 28°F. Winds will remain light, peaking at about 5.3 mph, and the chance of precipitation stays at a near constant 1%.
