116 Workers Affected as Stanley Black & Decker Announces Gallatin Closure

Stanley Black & Decker has notified the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development that it plans to permanently close its Gallatin facility, resulting in 116 job losses.

According to a WARN notice filed with the state, the closure will begin Aug. 28 and continue through Dec. 30, 2026, with the facility expected to permanently close by Dec. 30.

The affected facility is located at 241 Commerce Way in Gallatin.

The company filed the notice with the Department of Labor and Workforce Development on June 24.
