Severe Extreme Cold Warning is in effect for Middle Tennessee, including Sumner County, with dangerously cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero expected from 6 PM Monday to noon Tuesday. Present conditions in Sumner County at 6:30 PM show a temperature of 13.3°F, with overcast skies and a northwestern wind blowing at 6.5 mph. Precipitation is currently at 0 inches despite today’s earlier heavy snowfall.
Earlier today, temperatures reached a high of 33.8°F with wind speeds peaking at 16.2 mph. The area experienced significant snowfall totaling 1.9 inches, aligning with a 100% chance of precipitation.
